• Epsom salt is a natural mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate.
• It is used for body detoxification and commonly used as a gallstone flush (see gallstone flush recipe).
• It is also used as a natural laxative, for treating body aches and pains and also for household and gardening purposes.
• Benefits of Epsom Salt: Epsom Salt is used as a remedy for skin problems, soothing back pain and aching limbs, easing muscle strain, healing cuts, treating cold and congestion, and drawing toxins from the body. Epsom salt is not suitable for use as a culinary salt due to its high magnesium level. It is not an alternative to replace table salt.

Recommended Usage

• For body detoxification using Epsom Salt Bath:

Soak your body in a tub of water with 3 pounds of Epsom salt added in and mixed well. After 20 minutes, rinse off/shower.
